We went to a huge community yard sale last weekend. The thought crossed my mind as I looked at items about how they woud sell on Craigslist. Among some of the items that we found.

• a truck toolbox for $5 that would easily sell for $35 or more
• a nice gas grill for $5 that would sell for at least $45
• a working lawn mower for $5 that would sell for $45
• a lazyboy recliner that was $2 in excellent condition, could sell for $50

Those were just a few, and as usual it takes money to make money, so you would have to invest a total of $17 to get all these items, but look at the potential profit. They could sell for a total of $175. Minus your investment of $17 leaves $158 profit. These items could easily sell for more but I just wanted to give a conservative amount that would sell fast. Of course there would be your gas, but if you were already going it wouldn’t matter. See how easy it could be? The one we went to also had tons of baby items and name brand clothes and those are very easy to resell, so there is a veritable fortune to be made. Skip past the sales where the items are priced too high and go right for the places that have bargains.
